About the Role

The Texas Association of School Boards seeks a talented Business Developer to join its team. This hybrid role combines sales, marketing, and business development expertise to drive growth and revenue targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and business objectives.
  • Analyze market trends, competitive products, and industry changes to develop strong strategic marketing approaches.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to align sales strategies with brand that develops targeted marketing initiatives supporting lead generation and brand visibility.
  • Establish and maintain long-term relationships with clients, fostering trust and loyalty.
  • Present customized solutions that demonstrate value and align with the client's objectives.

Skill Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
  • Proven experience in sales, marketing, or business development, preferably with a consultative sales background.
  • Minimum 5 years experience selling a service or SaaS product.
  • Ability to manage and close sales across a national landscape.
  • Ability to present technical ideas and solutions in a non-technical user-friendly language.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and sales analytics tools.
