Position: Senior Financial and Administrative Auditor

Overview: This role focuses on thoroughly examining the financial and administrative frameworks across various departments within the County. You will play a crucial role in identifying financial discrepancies, ensuring adherence to regulations, and facilitating operational efficiency.

  • Performs financial compliance and operational audits to assess systems and guarantee fiscal responsibility
  • Reviews and verifies adherence to contracts and procurement policies
  • Analyzes administrative procedures and suggests corrective measures
  • Collaborates with department leaders to offer insights on financial and administrative practices
  • Conducts research, evaluates operations, and compiles reports

Minimum Qualifications: A Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Organizational Management, or a related discipline; a minimum of three years of experience in internal auditing; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

License/Certification Required: A valid Georgia driver's license is necessary; preferred certifications include Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and Certified Internal Auditor (CIA).
