Dental Hygiene Program Director

Pima Medical Institute is seeking a highly qualified and experienced Dental Hygiene Program Director to lead our Dental Hygiene program. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the growth and development of our faculty and staff, students, and the quality of the program.
Key Responsibilities- Leadership and Faculty Development: Supervise and mentor faculty members, prepare teaching assignments, and evaluate their performance.
- Program Development and Quality: Determine and implement department goals, review student success rates, and implement strategies to improve student retention and academic performance.
- Student Admissions and Support: Coordinate and evaluate student admissions criteria and procedures, and provide support to students through tutoring and academic advising.
- Curriculum Development and Implementation: Develop and maintain a functional curriculum, evaluate course content, and collaborate with administration to design and implement the dental hygiene program.
- Accreditation and Compliance: Prepare self-study for accreditation and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Education: Master's degree from an academic institution accredited by a regional or national accrediting agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.
- Experience: Three years of full-time clinical experience as a Dental Hygienist, with previous teaching experience in a program accredited by the Commission on Dental Accreditation preferred.
- Credentials: Current license, certification, or other credential required by local, state, and federal laws to work as a Dental Hygienist.
- Competitive Salary: $89,648 to $122,824 annual salary.
