Job Overview

This role will drive the execution of the package technology roadmap and cost reduction with Renesas Operations and external partners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Directly report to the VP of Technology & Incubation in support of all PWR BUs (including discrete power).
  • Collaborate closely with each PWR BU and provide package technology solutions and roadmap to meet the BU requirements including cost and timing.
  • Collaborate with Renesas Operations team as well as external partners to full fill PWR packaging roadmap requirements and timelines.
  • Driver of cost alignments and competitiveness to ensure industry leading package cost.
  • Potentially may include a few direct reports to assist in the execution of the roadmap.
Qualifications
  • BS or preferably MS/PhD in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
  • At least 15 years working with power package technology preferably in a product group.
  • Deep expert knowledge on power packaging and market trends.
  • Experience working with external package vendors with successful co-package development in high volume production.
