We are currently looking for a Registered Nurse RN for our Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit, offering a full-time night schedule of 36 hours per week, from 7 PM to 7 AM, including rotating weekends and holidays.
Details about our Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit:
- Collaborative interdisciplinary approach involving family, occupational therapy, physical therapy, speech-language pathology, case management, and physicians.
- A 35-bed unit dedicated to inpatient rehabilitation.
- Patient-to-nurse ratios tailored to patient acuity.
- Experience with various neurological conditions, including stroke, Parkinson's disease, spinal disorders, and more.
- Daily interdisciplinary rounds to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Participation in LGMC Shared Governance councils.

Job Responsibilities and QualificationsIn this role, you will:
- Be an integral part of the Inpatient Rehabilitation Interdisciplinary team, delivering high-quality, evidence-based, patient-centered care.
- Collaborate closely with the Medical Director, Hospitalist, and therapy team, showcasing exceptional clinical skills while providing compassionate care, fostering teamwork, and embodying HCA's mission and values.
- Provide 24-hour inpatient therapeutic care to patients recovering from various conditions and injuries, including amputations, spinal cord injuries, and multiple sclerosis.
Required qualifications include:
- A diploma or associate degree from an accredited nursing program.
- A BSN or current enrollment in a BSN program at an accredited nursing school is preferred.
- A current RN license in Virginia or a multi-state compact RN license eligible for practice in Virginia.
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association.
