About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented Property Insurance and Procurement Expert to join our team at Glovis EV Logistics America. This role will be responsible for managing procurement activities related to property insurance, ensuring the organization is adequately covered while optimizing costs and maintaining compliance with regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Purchasing and managing office supplies and materials, ensuring sufficient stock and maintaining good relationships with vendors.
  2. Designing and administering the Company's Internal Travel Program, coordinating with affected departments to ensure timely payment of travel invoices.
  3. Administering the Company's Auto Lease Program, assisting Managers and above in vehicle ordering, titling, registering, and tags, ensuring timely payment of monthly invoices.
  4. Participating in annual business planning, submitting requests for annual travel budget expenses, and monitoring spending.
  5. Assisting the General Affairs and Human Resources Departments in planning and implementing new and recurring events.
  6. Setting up work environments for new hires, including name tags, drawer keys, badges, etc.
  7. Assisting managers and serving as the photographer for VIP visits and tours, as well as the monthly Outstanding Team Member Award Program.
  8. Improving the work environment through employee complaint and improvement activities.
  9. Managing documents using the corporate information security policy.
  10. Coordinating with incoming Korean expatriate team members to assist in obtaining temporary and permanent housing, utilities, social security cards, drivers' licenses, and school admission for expatriate children.
Procurement Management
  1. Developing and implementing procurement strategies for property insurance.
  2. Conducting market research to identify potential insurance providers and products.
  3. Evaluating and comparing quotes from different insurers to ensure competitive pricing and coverage.
  4. Negotiating terms and conditions with insurance providers to secure favorable agreements.
Policy Administration
  1. Managing the renewal process for property insurance policies, ensuring timely and accurate submissions.
  2. Monitoring and assessing existing policies for coverage adequacy and cost effectiveness.
  3. Maintaining detailed records of all insurance policies, contracts, and communications with providers.
Risk Assessment and Compliance
  1. Collaborating with internal stakeholders to identify and assess property-related risks.
  2. Working with risk management teams to develop strategies for mitigating potential losses.
  3. Ensuring compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements related to property insurance procurement.
  4. Preparing reports on insurance coverage, claims history, and expenditures for management review.
Stakeholder Collaboration
  1. Serving as a liaison between the organization and insurance providers, addressing any issues or inquiries.
  2. Providing training and support to internal teams regarding insurance policies and procedures.
Qualifications

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Property Insurance and Procurement Expert with a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Risk Management, or a related field. Strong understanding of property insurance products and market trends is required, along with proven negotiation and contract management skills. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, as well as effective communication and interpersonal skills, are essential for success in this role.

Salary and Benefits

The estimated base salary range for this role is $55,700-$58,700. The job is eligible to participate in Glovis EV Logistics America's outstanding benefit plans, which include medical, dental, and vision coverage, a 401(k) Plan with $1/$1 matching up to plan provisions, and generous paid time off.

The role routinely uses standard office equipment, including a laptop computer and cell phone. The employee is generally required to spend long periods of time sitting, typing, and working at a computer. May require the ability to occasionally lift and transport items.
