We are seeking highly skilled and compassionate Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs) to join our team at Superior Ambulance Service of Michigan, Inc. Based in the Midwest, our organization has been providing exceptional emergency medical services for over 60 years.

Job Responsibilities

As an EMT with our team, you will be responsible for providing safe transportation and quality medical care to sick and injured individuals within the scope of state EMS regulations. Your primary duties will include:


  • Providing appropriate patient care as stipulated in your training as an EMT.
  • Providing safe transportation, including accurately discerning street names through map reading, and correctly distinguishing house numbers and business locations.
  • Appropriately assessing patients and accurately conveying their condition to other medical professionals.
  • Providing accurate written reports describing patients' conditions, medical histories, and treatments.
  • Maintaining vehicles in sanitary condition and monitoring all fluid levels and gauges.


Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must possess the following qualifications:


  • NREMT (National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians) or current state license (or pending).
  • Ability to provide medical care at the EMT or Paramedic level while safely transporting patients.
  • Valid driver's license and good driving record.
  • Pass a pre-employment interview, including a physical and lifting examination, and a drug screening.
  • Attend company-provided training and driving courses.

Salary

The estimated annual salary for this role is $45,000 - $65,000, depending on experience and location.
