Job Summary:

Soliant is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Speech Language Pathologist to join our team in a full-time contracted position. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will be responsible for assessing and diagnosing speech, language, and communication disorders in students, developing and implementing individualized treatment plans, and providing direct therapy services to students with speech and language impairments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assessment and Diagnosis: Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify students with speech, language, and communication disorders, and develop treatment plans tailored to each student's needs.
  • Direct Therapy Services: Provide individual and group therapy sessions to students with speech and language impairments, using evidence-based practices and techniques.
  • Progress Monitoring: Regularly monitor and document student progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support student communication goals, and educate families and caregivers on strategies to support communication development at home.
  • IEP Meetings and Record Keeping: Participate in IEP meetings, contribute to the development of individualized education programs, and maintain accurate and up-to-date records in compliance with school and district policies.

Requirements:

  • Education: Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
  • Licensure: Valid Oregon state license as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
  • Certification: Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred.
  • Experience: Experience working in a school setting is a plus.
  • Skills: Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
