Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at KBR. As an AFHE Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining, modifying, and installing Automated Fueling System Equipment (AFHE) at customer sites around the globe.

You will work independently and as part of a team to ensure seamless operations and meet the high standards of our customers. Your dedication will directly contribute to the Global Readiness & Sustainment of the United States Military.

Key Responsibilities
  • Efficient Time and Resource Management: Strategically direct and manage the allocation of time and provided resources to meet demanding schedules, ensuring adherence to both KBR and stakeholder standards for quality and value.
  • Documentation Management: Diligently maintain and track maintenance documents and deliverables, ensuring timely submission to management for review and approval.
  • Customer Site Coordination: Organize, schedule, and execute high-quality work at customer sites, maintaining a standard of excellence in service delivery.
  • Oversight of Technical Drawings: Supervise the creation, interpretation, updating, approval, and upkeep of AFSI/AFHE drawings, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Foster and sustain positive relationships with stakeholders, effectively engaging and collaborating with site personnel to achieve project objectives.
Requirements
  • Must be an Active Duty Skillbridge Candidate
  • US Citizen
  • Ability to work safely and efficiently with hand tools
  • Ability to work alone, outside, climb 3 flights of stairs and lift 50lb
  • Basic understanding of electronics, including 3 phase AC circuits, Single phase AC circuits, DC voltage and control circuits
  • Ability to correctly use test equipment in troubleshooting, including multimeters and process calibration meters
  • Ability to understand wiring diagrams and design drawings
  • Basic understanding of networking and IP addressing in a closed network
  • Must be able to pass a NACLC security background check and drug screening
  • Computer and Microsoft Windows proficiency
Preferred Qualifications
  • Preference for current possession of a government CAC card
  • Active or previous security clearance preferred
