You will also engage with interdisciplinary teams, including product and engineering experts, to ensure the successful execution of impactful projects from inception to completion.
Team Insights
The Zoom AI Speech Team is at the forefront of developing speech recognition innovations to enhance Zoom's conversational AI capabilities. This encompasses various products, including Zoom AI Companion, Zoom Meetings, Zoom Contact Center, Zoom Phone, and Zoom Revenue Accelerator.
Candidate Profile
- PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
- Proficient in deep learning and programming, particularly in Python and shell scripting; familiarity with machine learning frameworks such as PyTorch and TensorFlow is essential.
- Experience in speech recognition, speech processing, natural language processing, or similar fields in both academic and industry environments.
- Expertise in contemporary speech recognition topics: end-to-end ASR architectures, language modeling, decoding algorithms, on-device ASR models, personalization, semi-/self-supervised learning, multilingual ASR, and LLM-integrative ASR.
- Familiarity with speech recognition toolkits and libraries like Kaldi/k2, ESPNet, NeMo, or TorchAudio.
- Experience in large-scale data processing and model training.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills.

$167,200.00
Maximum:
$365,800.00
In addition to the base salary, Zoom adheres to a Total Direct Compensation philosophy that encompasses base salary, bonuses, and equity value.
