Job Title: Used Truck Sales Manager

Murphy-Hoffman Company, LLC is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Used Truck Sales Manager to lead our used truck sales and marketing efforts. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing sales and marketing strategies to achieve specific sales and net profit targets.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Direct and coordinate all activities of the Used Truck Department to achieve objectives and defined sales goals.
  • Develop and implement a sales and marketing program to achieve specific sales and net profit targets based on current market conditions.
  • Evaluate Used Truck Department performance against established targets and standards, and take appropriate action as necessary.
  • Control used truck inventory turns and gross profit through analysis of market potential for used trucks both retail and wholesale.
  • Develop and train Used Truck Department sales personnel to ensure objectives are met.
  • Establish and maintain satisfactory relations with outside wholesalers, dealers, and auction companies.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Requirements:
  • Knowledge of the wholesale/retail market.
  • Sales and management training.
  • People skills a must.
  • Must be willing to travel.
  • Must possess strong work ethics.
  • Must be Company/Team minded.
  • CDL preferred.
