At Inspira Health Network, we are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Dietitian to join our team as a Dietitian Professional Development Specialist. This role is responsible for providing clinical nutrition services, including nutrition assessment, modified diet formulation, self-management training, and nutrition intervention to patients.
Key Responsibilities- Provide Clinical Nutrition Services: Conduct comprehensive nutrition assessments, develop and implement individualized nutrition plans, and provide education to patients and their families.
- Collaborate with Healthcare Team: Work closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination and effective communication.
- Stay Current with Best Practices: Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date with the latest research, guidelines, and technologies in the field of nutrition.
- Contribute to Quality Improvement: Analyze data and identify opportunities for improvement in patient care and outcomes, and develop and implement strategies to address these areas.
- Support Department Operations: Assist with menu planning, food service management, and other departmental responsibilities as needed.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Dietetics or Nutrition from an accredited college or university.
- Experience: One year of experience in dietetics or a related field, preferably in an acute care setting.
- Certification/Licensure: Credentialed as a Registered Dietitian through the Commission on Dietetic Registration or Registration Eligible.
