We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Electrical Engineer III to join our team at ManTech. As an Electrical Engineer III, you will be responsible for designing and developing electrical systems, including generation, transmission, and distribution of electric power.
Key Responsibilities- Design and develop electrical systems, including electrical drawings, calculations, and specifications.
- Review and ensure compliance with project objectives and standards.
- Establish project roles and responsibilities of internal and external participants.
- Develop plans and make written and oral presentations to various interested personnel.
- Provide Quality Assurance review of Electrical Engineering documents.
- Compose technical correspondence to communicate designs, plans, and objectives to management officials, staff, and customers.
- Monitor and review commissioning of electrical systems for multiple projects.
- Bachelor's degree in manufacturing or electrical engineering with a minimum 10 years' experience working with AutoCAD, machining, power engineering, and control systems.
- Experience in providing engineering support to the NSWC Crane Weapons Division in support of research and development related projects.
- Experience in Power Engineering - HVAC/HVDC, Microgrids, and associated Control Systems, AutoCAD, Machining, Manufacturing, Mechanical Systems.
- Proven ability to communicate well in written and verbal communications.
- Ability to Design thinking for product inventions and enhancements.
- Experience providing Motivation and commitment to providing interpersonal customer service.
- Proven ability applying current industry standards and information.
- Experience using soft skills including a positive attitude, flexibility, and conflict resolution.
- Proven ability to solve problems creatively on time.
- U.S. Citizenship required and an active Secret Clearance.
- Constantly operate a computer and other office productivity machinery.
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position at least 50% of the time.
- Needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
