Electrical Systems Engineer

Amentum is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team in support of Strategic and Trusted Microelectronics. As an Electrical Engineer, you will play a critical role in the design, development, and testing of electronic equipment and systems.
Key Responsibilities:- Design and develop electronic systems and equipment, including circuit boards, microcontrollers, and other electronic components.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that designs meet customer requirements and specifications.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, test procedures, and technical reports.
- Conduct testing and validation of electronic systems and equipment to ensure compliance with customer requirements and industry standards.
- Provide technical support and guidance to customers and internal stakeholders on electronic systems and equipment.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field, and at least 3 years of experience in electrical engineering or a related field.
- Strong understanding of electronic systems and equipment, including circuit boards, microcontrollers, and other electronic components.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance.
- Experience with modeling and simulation, experimental design, or testing of radiation-hardened electronics.
- Experience with hardware security and trusted electronics issues.
- Experience with semiconductor fabrication tools and processes.
