Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Work closely with dentists to provide chair-side assistance and perform patient care duties.
  • Take and process dental radiographs (x-rays) to aid in diagnosis and treatment planning.
  • Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment to maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Assist with taking impressions of patients' teeth and performing extractions, composite fillings, and other dental procedures.
  • Teach patients proper oral hygiene techniques and provide nutritional counseling to promote good oral health.
  • Conduct medical history interviews and take vital signs, including blood pressure and pulse.
  • Provide emotional support and reassurance to patients before, during, and after dental treatment.
  • Offer post-treatment instructions and guidance to patients on maintaining good oral health.
Requirements
  • Certified or registered Dental Assistant or currently enrolled in a Dental Assisting program.
  • Hardworking, dependable, and coachable individual with a passion for delivering exceptional patient care.
  • CDA or RDA certification required; X-ray certification preferred.
  • Must have experience as a Dental Assistant.
  • Full-time schedule, Monday to Friday.
  • Competitive hourly rate plus monthly bonus potential of up to $500.
  • Benefits package including healthcare, 401k, paid holidays, and paid time off.
