We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Safety Associate to join our Interim Housing Team at PATH (People Assisting the Homeless). As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our interim housing site, staff, program participants, and visitors.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct regular site inspections to identify potential safety hazards and implement corrective actions.
- Collaborate with the onsite case management team to provide support and ensure a safe environment for all.
- Coordinate with security agencies to ensure the site is secure and well-maintained.
- Assist in drafting written documentation and correspondence regarding site safety and security.
- Develop and implement strategies to prevent and respond to incidents.
- 1+ year of experience working with vulnerable populations and/or security and/or de-escalation/nonviolent crisis intervention.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
