Zobility is a cutting-edge company in the automotive industry. We are seeking an exceptional individual to fill the role of Quality Assurance Lead. This position offers a competitive salary of $120,000 per year, depending on location.

Job Description

In this role, you will be responsible for leading quality management to achieve objectives and driving improvement/corrective actions and escalation. Your primary duties will include conducting root cause analysis, implementing corrective actions, and addressing warranty claims. Additionally, you will participate in product design reviews, PPAP processes, and implement necessary changes on the manufacturing floor.

You will also conduct Gemba Walks and process audits to ensure adherence to quality standards and control plans. Furthermore, you will work with the supplier quality team to address issues, drive improvements, and conduct supplier audits.

A key aspect of this role is delegation tasks, tracking progress, mentoring teams, and ensuring adequate staffing and skill development. You will guarantee that your team carries out pre-analysis activities on time. Moreover, you will do risk assessments and lead corrective action plans. You will also propose alternative product solutions in case of issues to avoid stopping mass production in the plant.

This position requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, along with minimum 8 years of related experience. Previous experience in an Engineering Department, Vehicle/mechanic Plant, or Project team is essential. You must have strong communication skills, both written and verbal, from high-level meetings to the shop floor.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Ability to lead an Engineering team to deliver product changes and launches on time
