Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Senior Video Editor to assemble recorded footage into a finished project that matches the Producer's vision. This role will also be responsible for leading a small team of video editors.

Responsibilities
  • Edit and produce long-form content for OMG Journalism.
  • Create short-form content for social media to increase engagement.
  • Consult with stakeholders from production to post-production.
  • Film various styles of content in different locations.
Availability and Travel
  • Must be able to work in-office.
  • The work is demanding and will often require a minimum of 12-hour workdays.
  • This position requires a minimum of 80% travel to cover assignments across the country.
Qualifications
  • Demonstrate loyalty to the Founder and a deep passion for OMG's mission.
  • Must possess a willingness to risk it all on the truth and stay strong under pressure.
  • Minimum 5 years of video editing experience.
  • Expert with DaVinci Resolve.
  • Experience in leading teams and proven leadership skills.
  • Expert with video cameras and audio equipment.
  • Solutions-oriented, thick skin, and ability to work under pressure.
  • Ability to work to a tight schedule and translate ideas into complete projects.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with the fast pace of a startup organization.
