Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Lake Land College. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing maintenance and construction work on our physical facilities, ensuring they are in good repair and operational.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and maintain power plant equipment, including generators and water treatment systems.
  • Record keeping and maintenance of mechanical, electrical, and HVAC equipment.
  • Perform repairs and maintenance on a variety of systems, including plumbing, carpentry, and electrical.
  • Assist in planning and implementing maintenance and construction programs.
  • Other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent, plus specialized maintenance training.
  • Three years of experience in maintenance, with the ability to obtain a Class D license.
  • Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and carpentry trades, as well as state and local building code requirements.
  • Ability to perform electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and carpentry work.
  • Ability to work effectively with others.
