Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Manager to lead and manage the procurement function within our organization. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing all procurement activities, driving cost-effective sourcing strategies, building and nurturing relationships with suppliers, and ensuring the availability of quality materials and services to support our operations.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and Implement Sourcing Strategies: Develop and implement sourcing strategies to support project goals and corporate objectives.
- Supplier Selection and Management: Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers and vendors, ensuring they meet quality standards and performance metrics.
- Purchasing and Contracting: Negotiate contracts and pricing with suppliers to achieve optimal terms and conditions.
- Procurement Process Management: Manage procurement processes, including purchase orders, vendor relationships, and inventory control.
- Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to align procurement activities with project schedules and requirements.
- Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and sustainability practices.
- Market Trend Analysis: Monitor market trends and supplier performance to proactively address potential issues or opportunities.
- Contract Awarding and Negotiation: Comparative analysis, proposal for awarding contracts, etc.
- International Purchasing and Logistics: International bulk purchases, logistics, and INCOTERMS.
- Construction Subcontracting: Negotiation and contracting of construction subcontracts.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: 8+ years of proven experience in procurement leadership roles, preferably in Solar, Renewable energy, Construction, etc.
- Skills and Knowledge: Strong knowledge of procurement best practices, contract management, and supplier negotiation. Strong knowledge of solar energy systems and materials. Experience in ERP Software (Business Central preferred).
- Personal Qualities: Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Proactive and dynamic person. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
