Job Title: Food and Beverage Associate

Job Summary:

As a Food and Beverage Associate, you will be responsible for providing top-notch customer service while supporting the operation of our Food and Beverage Department. This includes operating the POS register, preparing food and beverage items, resetting and busing the food court seating area, and conducting opening and closing procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate the POS register for food and drinks, including bar register when directed.
  • Prepare food and beverage items according to company policies and standards.
  • Reset and bus the food court seating area.
  • Wash and dry dishes, glasses, and other cooking/food prep utensils.
  • Conduct all opening and closing procedures, including opening and closing cash tills, kitchen cleaning, and more.
  • Manage food and beverage inventory according to store policies and procedures.
  • Maintain proper temperature for refrigerators and freezers.
  • Manage plates, cups, and other utensil inventory according to store policies and procedures.
  • Conduct restroom checks and cleaning, including laundry of rags.
  • Respond to customers' requests with a friendly demeanor.
  • Occasionally operate the POS system to collect payments and allocate bowling lanes.
  • Occasionally operate the POS system to collect payments and lend out facility and equipment, such as karaoke, billiards, and ping pong.
  • Occasionally operate the POS system to collect payments and issue cards and credits for arcade games.
Requirements:
  • A High School diploma and a minimum of one to two years of experience in a hospitality or retail environment are required.
  • Experience in a bowling establishment is preferred, but not required.
  • Bartending experience is preferred.
Work Environment:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works in a bowling center/arcade environment where high levels of noise, dust, and activity can be expected. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.

Physical Demands:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to bend, stretch, twist, climb, and have a high level of mobility/flexibility in small spaces. The employee is required to stand and walk for extended periods without breaks during busy times. In addition, the employee will need to be able to use their hands/fingers to handle feel, and reach with hands and arms. Lifting and/or moving up to 100 lbs with assistance is required.

  • 90 minutes of bowling per week (shoes included).
  • 1 hour of karaoke/billiards per week.
  • 50% discount on food items per working shift.
