Job Description

The commercial floor cleaner will scrub, shine, clean, and repair carpeted and non-carpeted areas using the right equipment and chemicals. This role involves operating machinery and moving large furniture while following safety guidelines.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Operate floor care equipment such as automatic scrubbers, floor machines, wet/dry vacuums, burnishers, vacuums, sweepers, pressure wash equipment, and carpet extractors.
  2. Machine scrub floors according to floor maintenance schedules.
  3. Adhere to safety guidelines to prevent injury and provide daily equipment maintenance.
  4. Tag equipment for major repairs and advise supervisors.
  5. Coordinate with other workers to complete floor care tasks within multi-trade projects.
