Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and physically capable Hospital Food Service Staff to join our team at KPC Global Medical Centers Inc. As a key member of our food service team, you will play a critical role in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene in our kitchen facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Clean and sanitize dishes, silverware, pots, and pans to ensure a safe and healthy environment for patients and staff.
  • Assist with setting up and working on patient tray lines, transporting patient carts to and from nursing floors, and putting away stock.
  • Prepare and deliver floor stock to departments as needed.
  • Clean up meetings and special functions, and assist with heavy cleaning in the department.

Requirements:

  1. Prior experience in hospital food service is preferred but not required.
  2. The ability to work efficiently and follow hospital and department policies and procedures.
  3. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with colleagues and management.
  4. Physical ability to lift and carry objects, stand for extended periods, and perform duties safely.
  5. Able to lift a minimum of 25 pounds.

Compensation: The estimated annual salary for this position is $40,000-$45,000, depending on location and experience.
