We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Department team at St. David's Georgetown Hospital. As an Emergency Department Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with our interdisciplinary team to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Perform patient assessments and develop individualized plans of care to address the physical, emotional, and social needs of patients.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to refine and achieve plans of care, and continually monitor patient progress.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, and provide health education to patients and families.
- Evaluate patient outcomes and document the effectiveness of interventions.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
- 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse in an Emergency Department setting.
- Associate's degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited program.
- Current State of Texas Registered Nurse (RN) license or Compact Registered Nursing License.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) or Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) or Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC) certification.
- Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification.
