We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Mobile Crisis Paraprofessional Specialist to join our team at Phoenix Counseling & Crisis Centers. About the Role

  • This position requires working as part of a 24/7/365 team, providing crisis management services that meet the needs of persons served and other stakeholders.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and therapeutic environment, supporting medical and clinical services, and assisting with basic needs.
  • Additional duties include transporting consumers on an as-needed basis, conducting intake and assessment, and monitoring clients.
  • Our ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work effectively in high-stress environments, and possess a strong understanding of mental health disorders and their impact on individuals and families.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • A minimum of one year experience in delivering clinical crisis services or credit given for relevant crisis experience.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to lift up to 20 pounds required.
  • Must be willing to work 24/7 shifts, including availability by phone to cover increased acuity on the unit or as requested by the supervisor.
  • Travel may be required using company-supplied vehicles or personal vehicles with mileage reimbursement.

Benefits and Compensation
