City Brewing Company is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Brewmaster to lead our Brewing and Batching departments. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the efficient operation of our brewing and batching processes, ensuring timely and high-quality production of finished products.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement procedures for efficient production of finished products
- Monitor and analyze output of brewing and batching processes, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with quality and safety standards
- Communicate effectively with customers, providing timely and accurate information on production schedules and quality
- Lead and motivate a team of hourly and staff employees to achieve departmental goals and objectives
- 3-5 years' experience in a managerial position, preferably in the brewing industry
- B.S. in a related science discipline (Chemistry, Microbiology, Biology, Engineering, etc.) or equivalent
- Specialized training in brewing science from a recognized brewing school or equivalent experience
- Proven track record of brewing process optimization, delivering consistent quality and cost metrics
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team-centered environment
