Job Summary:

USA Health is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Care Technician to join our University Urology team. As a Clinical Care Technician, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our medical team in delivering high-quality services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate clinical activities and perform special procedures
• Independently triage patients and supervise lower-level staff
• Prepare examination rooms and position patients for examination
• Take patient histories and vital signs, including pulse, temperature, blood pressure, height, and weight
• Assist physicians with special procedures and exams
• Clean and restock exam rooms, clean and sterilize instruments, and operate EKG
• Administer injections as needed and perform routine lab procedures
• Maintain inventory of supplies, answer telephones, and schedule appointments
• Prepare lab and x-ray requisitions, obtain test results, and fax medical records and referrals as needed
• File lab and test results and dictation in charts, prepare patient referral forms, and clean and stock medicine and supply rooms
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area and assist patients as needed

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent and three years of directly related healthcare experience in a clinic or hospital setting
• Completion of a medical assistant training program and two years of directly related healthcare experience in a clinic or hospital setting
