Job SummaryWe are actively hiring for a Patient Care Technician (PCT) to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for protecting patients from injury, demonstrating safe operation of equipment, and adhering to standard precautions.
Responsibilities- Protect patients from injury caused by extraneous objects and chemical, electrical, mechanical, and thermal sources
- Demonstrate safe operation of equipment and machinery, and follow procedures for reporting and correcting an unsafe situation
- Adhere to standard precautions, including the use of personal protective equipment
- Proactively optimize opportunities to enhance flow and efficiency of the center
- High School Graduate or equivalent
- Certified Medical Assistant (MA) / Nursing Assistant (CNA) / Patient Care (PCT) preferred
- Successful completion of BLS Course within 90 days of employment or documentation of current BLS certification
- Knowledge of medical terminology
