Key Responsibilities:
- Acquire knowledge of utility locating methods, safety measures, and equipment operation
- Understand local utility infrastructure and regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with experienced locators to accurately mark underground utility lines
- Operate utility locating devices
- Record findings using digital mapping technology
- Work in various weather conditions
- Safely operate company vehicles
- Be available for overtime, travel, and on-call duties as required
Qualifications:
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Authorization to work in the United States
- High School Diploma, GED, or relevant experience
- Valid State Driver's License with an acceptable driving record
Physical Requirements:
Regular Duties:
- Work independently in remote locations
- Perform tasks involving lifting up to 55 pounds
- Use fine motor skills for equipment operation
- Stand, walk, bend, and stoop for extended periods
Occasional Duties:
- Work in confined spaces and navigate uneven terrain
Transferable Skills:
Experience in facility maintenance, technical roles, route driving, meter reading, landscaping, outdoor work, pest control, surveying, military service, or construction is advantageous.
Salary:
Compensation starts at $22 per hour, based on experience.
