About the Role

This is a key position within the Prysmian Group, responsible for ensuring that maintenance technicians have the necessary tools and parts to complete work orders efficiently. The successful candidate will be accountable to the Maintenance Manager and will be expected to schedule maintenance in a way that minimizes equipment downtime and impact on production.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate Material Availability: Assess the availability of materials, both internally and externally, to ensure that maintenance personnel have the necessary resources to complete tasks.
  • Maintenance Scheduling: Schedule maintenance in a way that minimizes equipment downtime and impact on production, ensuring that all work uncovered by maintenance personnel is planned and scheduled in a timely manner.
  • Work Order Management: Manage work orders, documentation, and assets within the computerized maintenance management system, ensuring that all necessary information is up-to-date and accurate.
  • Team Supervision: Supervise maintenance employees in all phases of training and apprenticeships, using the computerized maintenance management system to track progress and provide feedback.
  • Capital Projects: Oversee capital projects as assigned, ensuring that all necessary permits and approvals are obtained and that projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Administrative Tasks: Perform administrative tasks, such as preparing time frames for maintenance projects, publishing weekly and monthly schedules, and managing spare parts and inventory.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with maintenance personnel, management, and other stakeholders to ensure that all necessary information is shared and that goals and objectives are met.
Requirements

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in maintenance operations and a proven track record of success in similar roles. They will be highly organized, able to prioritize tasks effectively, and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
