Ultrasound Imaging Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Ultrasound Technologist to join our team at Providence St. Peter Hospital. As a key member of our Diagnostic Imaging department, you will be responsible for performing high-quality ultrasound exams and providing accurate information to radiologists to aid in diagnosis.
Key Responsibilities- Perform ultrasound exams proficiently and efficiently, adhering to established protocols and guidelines.
- Provide exceptional patient care and ensure a positive experience for all patients.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans.
- Participate in the growth and development of the Diagnostic Imaging department, contributing ideas and suggestions for improvement.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in ultrasound technology and techniques, attending training sessions and workshops as needed.
- Graduate of an accredited school of medical sonography.
- National Registered Technologist - Sonography (RVT) certification upon hire.
- National Certification from American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) upon hire.
- National Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association upon hire.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field.
