Job Summary

TravelCenters of America is seeking a skilled Cashier to join our team. As a key member of our store team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our guests, ensuring a positive and memorable experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide courteous and efficient service to customers, processing transactions and answering questions in a timely manner.
  • Maintain a clean and well-stocked food and beverage area, as well as a clean and organized store environment.
  • Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently, handling cash, credit card payments, and other forms of payment.
  • Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve sales goals and provide excellent customer service.
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned, including restocking shelves, cleaning the store, and assisting with inventory management.

Requirements:

  • Basic computer and point-of-sale (POS) knowledge preferred.
  • Cash handling skills and ability to work accurately with cash and credit card transactions.
  • Good verbal communication skills and ability to work effectively with customers and team members.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
