About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Service Writer to join our team at Snider Fleet Solutions. As a Mechanical Service Writer, you will be responsible for estimating heavy-duty truck and trailer mechanical jobs, including parts and labor. You will also bill service tickets, communicate with vendors, and interact with customers and technicians.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Estimate service tickets and bill service tickets
  • Order parts and process returns
  • Provide customer support and communicate with technicians and vendors
  • Adhere to all safety programs and assist in service billing

Requirements:

  • Associate's Degree in Business or related field, or equivalent work experience
  • At least 2 years' experience in the industry or a related management position
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, attention to detail, and ability to learn software
  • Superior customer service and communication skills, and ability to work effectively as a team member
