Position Summary:

Presbyterian is in search of a skilled Critical Care Nurse to join our Cath Lab team.

The CVL Recovery Room Nurse is responsible for caring for patients recovering from anesthesia post-surgery. This role involves monitoring vital signs, assessing consciousness levels, and observing patients for any adverse reactions to anesthesia.

Preoperative Nurses assist patients before surgery by completing necessary documentation and addressing any concerns or anxieties related to the procedure.

PACU and Preoperative Nurses utilize the nursing process to deliver direct patient care to a designated group of patients during their shift, ensuring efficient use of time and resources while adhering to established care standards.

Qualifications

Licensure: Registered Nurse - State of New Mexico or Compact State Nursing License. BLS certification required within 90 days of hire.

Education: Associate Degree in Nursing.

Experience: Prior experience in CVL, Cardiac ICU/ED, or PACU/Preoperative settings is highly preferred.

Compensation

The maximum offer for this position is up to USD $51.00 per hour.
