About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Hardware Compliance Technical Program Manager to join our Hardware Compliance Engineering team at Amazon. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving the implementation of our compliance plan and ensuring that our products meet global compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own and drive end-to-end program strategy, execution, and risks to ensure successful launch of new products.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders, including HW Compliance Engineering, Product Management, Legal, and Operations, during all phases of the program.
  • Ownership and delivery of key compliance documentation for international certification approval.
  • Develop and document processes to continually improve efficiency and reduce complexity in operations.

About the Team

You will be part of a diverse and global team responsible for compliance and international approval of Amazon consumer devices. We leverage our robust processes and mechanisms to ensure safe and compliant products for customers worldwide.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience.
  • 5+ years of technical product or program management experience.
  • Experience managing programs across cross-functional teams, building processes, and coordinating release schedules.
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or equivalent.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of project management disciplines, including scope, schedule, budget, quality, risk, and critical path management experience.
  • Experience managing projects across cross-functional teams, building sustainable processes, and coordinating release schedules.
  • Deep understanding of new product introduction and hardware development processes.
  • Proficiency with business applications and cloud-based collaboration tools.
  • Experience with international approval/global market access and certification process.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with demonstrated experience engaging and influencing senior executives.
