Job Summary:

Bishop Gadsden, a not-for-profit, faith-based retirement community, is seeking a service-driven Fine Dining Server Assistant to join our culinary team. As a Server Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional dining experiences for our residents and their guests in our fine dining restaurant, Winningham Court.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver and properly serve meals to residents and their guests
  • Assist in all table maintenance throughout the meal, ensuring a clean and welcoming environment
  • Clear, pre-bus, and reset all tables according to standards after completion of each meal
  • Prepare and serve coffee, tea, and other beverages as requested by servers or residents
  • Participate in catering services as necessary, providing exceptional service to our residents and their guests
  • Perform all duties assigned in an effective, timely, and professional manner, maintaining a respectful and courteous demeanor at all times

Requirements:

  • At least sixteen (16) years of age
  • Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate clearly in English both verbally and written
  • Ability to comprehend numbers, calculate, and perform data input
  • Interpersonal skills necessary for exchanging information and maintaining a courteous relationship with residents, families, visitors, and employees
  • Adhere to attendance and scheduling requirements
  • Ability to lift and/or carry weights of up to 50 pounds
