Position Overview:

As a vital member of the Imaging and Diagnostics department, you will play a crucial role in assisting technologists and supporting the imaging team.

Key Highlights:

  • Sign-On Bonus: $2, payable in full on the first paycheck.
  • Work Schedule: Full-time with variable shifts (5-8 hour shifts).
  • Compensation: Starting pay at $15/hour.
  • Shift Differentials: Available for night, weekend, and additional shifts.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Assist in transporting, preparing, and positioning patients to ensure accurate imaging.
  • Conduct patient pre-screening, initiate IVs, and provide education related to imaging procedures.
  • Manage patient data entry and monitor the transfer of images.
  • Ensure high-quality images and documentation are submitted to the PACS system.
  • Maintain equipment functionality and report any issues to the appropriate personnel.
  • Keep the imaging department clean and organized, including procedure rooms and storage areas.
  • Work in a safe and alert manner at all times.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Educational Requirements:

  • High School diploma or GED, or equivalent work experience (10 years).

Experience:

  • No prior experience is required.

Physical Demands:

  • Frequent standing and walking.
  • Regular use of vision for close and distant tasks.
  • Frequent communication through hearing and speech.
  • Ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 25 lbs regularly, and occasionally up to 50 lbs.
  • Frequent patient handling and movement.
  • Occasional bending, stooping, and repetitive movements.

Required Certifications:

  • Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider (BLS HCP) certification from the American Heart Association.
