As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in helping patients achieve their maximum potential by evaluating their function and selecting and applying appropriate treatments to improve or restore function.

Responsibilities:

* Evaluate patients based on departmental standards
* Conduct and modify evaluations based on patient symptoms, level of activity, and medical status
* Treat patients with therapeutic exercises and modalities to relieve pain and attain established goals
* Educate patients and families on home exercise programs and functional activities
* Determine when a patient has achieved maximal benefit from treatment and recommend discharge
* Document patient care in accordance with insurance guidelines and department policies

Requirements:

* Graduate of an accredited program of Occupational Therapy with a minimum of a B.S.
* Current Connecticut license
* Certified Hand Therapist
* Strong English communication skills, both verbal and written
* Personal computer skills and proficiency in Windows-based programs
* Reliable transportation to travel between multiple work sites
