Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team at ECHN. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our rehabilitation services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate patients to determine their functional abilities and develop individualized treatment plans to improve or restore function.
  • Conduct thorough assessments and modify treatment plans as needed to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Administer various therapies, including physical agents and manual techniques, to relieve pain and achieve established goals.
  • Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare teams to educate and empower individuals to maximize their independence and functional activity.
  • Document patient progress and maintain accurate records in accordance with insurance guidelines and departmental policies.
  • Participate in interdisciplinary approaches to patient care and contribute to the development of educational programs for patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program with a minimum of a B.S. degree.
  • Current licensure in Connecticut and certification as a Certified Hand Therapist.
  • Strong English communication skills, both verbal and written, and proficiency in the use of Windows-based programs.
  • Ability to travel between multiple work sites and possess reliable transportation.
