Job Summary

We are seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team at St. John's. As a CNA, you will play a vital role in helping our patients feel safer and more comfortable by assisting with their basic daily life activities.

Responsibilities
  • Assist patients with their basic daily life activities, such as bathing, dressing, and eating.
  • Monitor patients' conditions and report any changes or concerns to nursing staff.
  • Provide emotional support and reassurance to patients and their families.
  • Participate in patient education and teaching family members about appropriate activities and procedures.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Successful completion of a Certified Nursing Assistant program required.
  • Nurse Assistant Certification (CT NA) required.
  • CPR certification required.
  • Six months recent hospital or long-term care facility experience as CNA preferred.
Working Conditions

This position requires working in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions. Must be able to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and push/pull heavy equipment as needed.

Salary Information

The estimated salary for this position is $23.00 - $27.01 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
