Job Summary

The Clinical Registered Nurse II role at MarinHealth is a critical position that requires a skilled and compassionate nurse to provide high-quality patient care. As a Clinical Registered Nurse II, you will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care plans to ensure the delivery of safe and effective care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess patients' physical and emotional needs, and develop individualized care plans to meet those needs.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing procedures, and providing education to patients and families.
  • Supervise and delegate tasks to nursing staff, ensuring that care is delivered in a timely and effective manner.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Current valid California RN license.
  • Minimum two years of experience as a Clinical Registered Nurse I or equivalent experience in pediatric critical care.
  • Pediatric critical care experience is required.
  • Experience with hospital electronic charting and electronic health record systems is required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification.
  • Procedural sedation competency.
