Emergency Room Nurse

The Medical Center of Aurora is seeking a skilled and compassionate Emergency Room Registered Nurse to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and contribute to the delivery of exceptional patient outcomes.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care in the emergency department, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of patients with a wide range of medical conditions.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each patient.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, and monitor patients for adverse reactions.
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical and emotional needs, and develop plans to address these needs.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Current licensure in the State of Colorado as a Registered Nurse, or current active multistate nursing licensure.
- Current BLS, ACLS, NRP certifications through American Heart Association or American Red Cross, TNCC or TNS, and ENPC or PALS through American Heart Association required at time of hire.
- Graduate of a certified School of Nursing.
- Minimum of 1 year Critical Care or Emergency Department experience preferred.
