Operating Room Nurse

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse Operating Room to join our team at Centennial Hospital. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our hospital.
About the RoleThis is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for a dedicated and compassionate nurse to work in a fast-paced operating room environment. You will be responsible for providing direct patient care, collaborating with other healthcare professionals, and ensuring the highest standards of patient safety and satisfaction.
Responsibilities- Prepare patients for surgery by ensuring accurate and thorough documentation, and by conducting pre-operative assessments and interventions as needed.
- Collaborate with anesthesiologists, surgeons, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and optimal outcomes.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans that address the unique needs and goals of each patient.
- Monitor and manage patient vital signs, medications, and other aspects of care to ensure safe and effective treatment.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and advancements in surgical nursing.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A current RN license in the state of Colorado.
- At least 2 years of experience in a surgical or operating room setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks and responsibilities effectively.
