Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Podiatric Hospitalist to join our team at Allina Health. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide high-quality patient care, specializing in the management of complex acute and chronic conditions of the foot, ankle, and related structures of the leg.

Key Responsibilities
  • Direct Patient Care: Provide comprehensive care to hospitalized patients, including conservative and surgical management of complex conditions.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with inpatient and outpatient podiatrists, as well as other specialties involved in patient care.
  • Outpatient Services: Provide clinical services for hospital-discharged patients on a rotating basis.
  • Leadership: May participate in lead duties in wound clinics and rotational weekday evening and weekend call.
Requirements
  • Doctoral/Ph.D. level advanced degree in Doctor of Medicine, Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine or foreign equivalent from an approved school of medicine.
  • Completion of a 24-month residency in Podiatric Medicine and Surgery in a program approved by the Council on Podiatric Medical Education (CPME).
  • 0-2 years of demonstrated experience in designated specialty area.
  • Licensed Physician - MN Board of Medical Practice.
  • ACLS-BLS Tier 3 - Multisource.
  • PALS - Pediatric Advance Life Support - Multisource.
  • NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation - Multisource.
  • Board Certification or Board Eligible by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgeons (ABFAS).
  • Drug Enforcement Agency Certificate.
  • Prescription Monitoring Program.
  • National Provider Identifier.
