Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Behavioral Therapist to join our team. As a Behavioral Therapist, you will work closely with our Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) to develop and implement individualized treatment plans for our clients. Your primary responsibility will be to provide one-on-one therapy sessions to individuals with autism, using evidence-based techniques and strategies to promote learning and behavior change.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide one-on-one therapy sessions to individuals with autism, using evidence-based techniques and strategies to promote learning and behavior change.
- Collect and summarize data during sessions, using standardized tools and procedures to track client progress.
- Collaborate with BCBAs to develop and implement individualized treatment plans, taking into account client goals, needs, and preferences.
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and other team members to ensure seamless coordination of care.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay current with best practices in autism care.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., psychology, education, special education).
- Experience working with individuals with autism, preferably in a therapeutic setting.
- Ability to attend our 40-hour RBT training course and be eligible to pass the RBT exam within 45 days of hire.
- Consistent, reliable transportation, a driver's license, and car insurance to provide in-home services for clients.
