Job Title: Associate Attorney

We are seeking a highly skilled Associate Attorney to join our team at Young Wooldridge, LLP. As a key member of our Water Law and Special Districts department, you will work closely with our senior litigators to manage a selection of active cases, conduct research, and formulate case strategy.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a portfolio of cases, including making routine appearances, conducting discovery, and preparing for trial.
  • Assist senior litigators with complex legal and factual research and formulating case strategy.
  • Prepare and review pleadings, discovery, motions, and briefs.
  • Supervise and assist with document review for responses to eDiscovery and Public Records Act requests.
  • Assist with transactional and board practice for public agency clients, primarily water agencies.
Requirements:
  • Minimum two years litigation experience, four years preferred.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and accurately.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven ability to work as part of a team.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat.
  • Proficiency with Westlaw, Deadline Assistant, Everlaw, and ShareFile preferred.
