About the Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Women's Health Care Professional to join our inpatient nursing team at PennState Health. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are passionate about delivering high-quality patient care and making a meaningful difference in the lives of others.

Job Summary:

  • As a Women's Health Care Professional, you will be responsible for providing compassionate and individualized care to patients with a wide range of health needs.
  • You will work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to develop and implement comprehensive care plans that address the physical, emotional, and social needs of our patients.
  • In this role, you will also have the opportunity to participate in ongoing education and training programs to enhance your skills and stay up-to-date on the latest best practices in women's health care.
Responsibilities
  1. Provide direct patient care to women with a variety of health needs, including prenatal, postpartum, and gynecologic conditions.
  2. Develop and implement individualized care plans that address the unique needs and goals of each patient.
  3. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless communication and coordination of care.
  4. Participate in quality improvement initiatives to promote excellence in patient care and safety.
  5. Stay current with advances in women's health care by attending conferences, workshops, and online courses.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) or higher required.
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of employment.
  • At least 2 years of experience in women's health care or a related field.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
  • CPR certification required.

The estimated annual salary for this position is $93,000 - $120,000, depending on experience.
