Protect Lives and Build a Career with Pye-Barker Fire & Safety
About the Role:
- As a Fire Sprinkler Pipe Fitter, you will play a critical role in designing, installing, and maintaining piping systems for fire protection and life safety systems.
- You will work with blueprints, work orders, and schematics to create working procedures and gather equipment and materials for the job.
- Responsibilities include welding, cutting, bending, threading, soldering, and fitting pipes, as well as attaching pipes to walls using brackets, bracket systems, or clamps.
- You will also inspect pipes for pressure and leaks, report and resolve problems, and maintain records, including safety logs and inspection details.
Requirements:
- A high school diploma or GED is preferred, and any vocational training is strongly desired.
- You must be able to read schematics and blueprints and use a variety of tools, including blowtorches, saws, pipe benders, and welding torches.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail are essential, as well as strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
