Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Certified Hand Therapist to join our team at Saint Francis Health System. As a key member of our Outpatient Rehabilitation department, you will be responsible for providing expert care to patients with physical disabilities involving the hand.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical patient care in hand therapy specialty, including UE splinting and fabrication
  • Document patient treatment records and complete accurate daily patient charges
  • Stay up-to-date with technical advances and maintain certification through continuing education and in-services
  • Provide instruction and education to patients, family members, and healthcare professionals
  • Collaborate with other therapists and healthcare staff to ensure high-quality patient care
Requirements
  • Bachelor's of Science Degree in Occupational Therapy or Physical Therapy
  • Licensed as a Certified Hand Therapist
  • 5-7 years of related experience
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and reasoning skills
  • Basic computer skills and adaptability
Working Relationships

You will work closely with patients, family members, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care. As a Certified Hand Therapist, you will be responsible for leading and collaborating with other therapists and healthcare staff to ensure high-quality patient care.

Decision Making

You will use independent judgment to make decisions from multiple alternatives, subject to general review in final stages only.
