Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and dispense a variety of medications to meet the needs of both outpatient and inpatient facilities.
- Work collaboratively with healthcare professionals to prevent medication errors and ensure safe medication practices.
- Provide comprehensive clinical services, including pharmacokinetic dosing, therapeutic substitutions, IV/PO conversions, and total parenteral nutrition.
Work Schedule: Varied 8-hour shifts based on departmental requirements, including weekends and holidays.
Compensation: Salary range is $80.94 to $94.81 per hour.
Qualifications:
- Pharm D. degree and a valid California Pharmacy license.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, organizational, and follow-through abilities.
- Proficient in age-specific and disease-specific pharmacokinetic calculations.
- Skilled in compounding intravenous admixtures and other sterile preparations.
- ASHP-accredited residency is preferred.
